Welcome to the Nutt Road Honey Farm Web site. The Nutt Road Honey Farm is family owned and operated, located in Grove City, Pennsylvania. Our beehives are located on the farm, amidst a five acre patch of clover, and on an organic produce farm in Slippery Rock, PA. We offer honey, honey and beeswax soaps and hand-dipped beeswax candles and ornaments, all available to order from this website. We also sell locally in the Butler, Mercer, and surrounding county areas via farmers markets, festivals, and on-farm sales.
SOAP We hand-craft our own “Honey and Oatmeal” soap. Our all-natural soaps are a healthy non-toxic alternative to the synthetic detergents of commercial soap bars. Just compare the labels. A quick glance will reveal the highly synthetic nature of most soap. Our soap contains 100% natural ingredients, such as saponified oils of coconut, palm, olive, and wheat germ, plus beeswax, oatmeal, buttermilk, honey, grapefruit seed extract, and pure essential oils. No artificial dyes, fragrances, or preservatives are used. And - homemade soap feels good - soft, rich, and soothing! We stock a variety of soaps year-round.
CANDLES Hand-dipped pure beeswax candles have been highly prized since ancient times, and for good reason. With their delightfully sweet fragrance, they burn longer, more cleanly, and give off more light than other wax candles. Also available are small votive and tea light poured beeswax candles.
HONEY Our bees produce fresh, local honey with the assistance from our beekeepers - Dave, and son Jordan. We sell only raw, unheated and unfiltered honey in order to retain the wide array of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants found in pure honey. When necessary to treat for mites, we do so organically, no pesticide strips are used in our hives.
